あきこ「A・KI・KO」
hello! are you here to find out who is the voice behind this blog? i wonder who is she... well, that would be yours truly - akiko wolf!

gosh, i have not written an introduction essay for so long now, i don't know where to start first! allow me to begin with a little background story. i live in malaysia but i rarely write about the country (not that i write much about other countries either). but i do love writing, and wish to publish my poems and some fiction, whenever i can finish writing one story that is (because i just keep getting new ideas for a different story). i do love reading children's literature, so that is where you will find me burying my nose at a book sale, in search of books about adventure, mystery, myths and sometimes sci-fi themed stories.

in the kitchen, baking and pan-fry are my specialities, with cupcakes and omelets being my favourite. baking is probably the easiest thing in the kitchen (hello? baked potatoes means waiting baking for slightly more than one hour and then eat!) and i'll experiment with new recipes from books and online sources, but sometimes i feel bad for my family who have to be the first tester! i dare not claim "I LOVE FOOD" but i cannot deny it and i cannot live with out potatoes and cheese. i love soup too, but i rarely make good ones if they are not the instant cream soup. when i eat out, i avoid seafood restaurants but i will eat sushi and the likes! it's good to be free from allergy.

「Student」
currently i am enrolled in a local university for mass communication. i get a lot of research-based assignments and tons of literature to review! some may find the task daunting (or boring *gasp*), but i don't mind reading. i always wanted to study psychology but i didn't get the chance to, so now i do social research. i also wanted to go for costume design, but there is no such course in malaysia.

「Blogger」
i started blogging in mid 2007. i am not one of those proud first generation bloggers; so what? some first gen bloggers say that the later generation of bloggers are people who jump on the hype of blogging; so what? i have a story to share now, so i will blog now. there is no such thing as being a 'second class' blogger, and there is no wrong to be a 'second generation' blogger.

「Cosplayer」
the year prior to blogging, i was already picking up interest in cosplay, among other hobbies. when i started blogging, i also wrote about ACG (anime, comics, games) events which i have cosplayed at. after one year's worth of events in 2008 (it did take a lot of effort to come up with the time every month!),  i decided which events were fun and worth it. so the following year, i attend only half of all the events in 2009. this 2010, it was a different reason to cosplay fewer because i wanted more time to focus on studies and experiment with sewing.

「Online shopaholic」
spending increasing amount of time online exposed me to online shopping and i really enjoy the convenience of shopping from home. i can do all the ordering, payment, waiting, until receiving the items at home. of course, i learnt that i cannot do all the shopping for myself (or i will go bankrupt) so i started an online shopping service for people who want to share shipping costs and avoid the hassle of credit card transactions. i hope i am not a diagnosed serious shopaholic, but i really enjoy being online 'window' shopping.

「Daydream designer」
i have a lot of ideas. they appear to make me sound like a creative person, but i think i am more of an innovative person. when i see something i want, i try to make it myself. when i see a design that i like, it inspires me to make one better. some might mistake me for a copycat, but when i have a really good idea, it really is a good idea. i wish to design many things! fashion, costume, accessories, interior, decoration; you name it, i probably thought of it (but it has to be an artistic product, not like a car engine).
